Don't just rely on your winning smile and irresistible personality when it comes to an interview. Research about the company before the interview to show employers that you are highly interested in working for them.
LinkedIn: Have a look at the company LinkedIn profile to see if you have any mutual connections with people working for that company
Company website: Determine what the company's mission statement or philosophy is as you may be asked to explain how you could help them fulfil that.
News and blogs: Learning about the history of the company can be useful to bring up during your interview. Show the employer that you understand and is interested in the dynamic of the company.
Remember to keep your LinkedIn profile updated because your prospective employer will certainly have viewed your posts, connections and what groups you follow to gain a greater understanding of you.
