We are looking for a Front End Web Developer (Manager) to be responsible for leading a team of web developers and subcontractor partners. The responsibilities include overseeing a project from conception to implementation, designing and developing web architecture, and providing guidance on technical issues.
To be successful as a Front End Web Developer (Manager), you should be comfortable managing and working within a team, have a keen eye for detail, possess excellent organizational and leadership skills, and produce high-quality website work. The right candidate will have a history of developing WordPress themes with minimal use of plugins, implementing clean HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP while making themes dynamic with the use of Advanced Custom Fields. The right candidate will also be able to manage working with designers, and outsourcing work to freelancers to keep projects within their deadlines.
Required Experience:
At least 3-5 years of full-time web developer experience
At least 2-3 years managing other people, including in-house project management as well as experience managing subcontracted web developers and graphic design resources.
Required Technical Skills:
- Complete command of CSS, HTML, Javascript, and PHP.
- Wordpress theme development using Advanced Custom Fields.
- Thorough understanding of the most recent version of Bootstrap.
- Expertise in Hosting, DNS, and Server Management.
- Clean, efficient, and well-commented coding practices.
- Experience with the AWS Management Console.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative products (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) as well as Figma.
- Ability to navigate servers through terminal commands.
Other Qualifications:
Eye for design, with your own Portfolio showing clean, modern examples of web development
Ability to estimate development hours and delivery timelines.
Outstanding, professional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to confidently communicate with people at any professional level
Ability to create and maintain process documentation.
Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at once.
Acute attention to detail, compulsively organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
The ability to learn quickly, execute independently, think analytically, and deliver on a deadline
Must be a consummate team player willing to step in and assist others when needed and “wear many hats”

Understanding of industry trends relating to branding and digital marketing.
An interest in learning more about website development and how search engines index websites.
