Full Stack Engineer (Java, Vue.js) at Modus Create

Hi there! Modus Create is looking for Full Stack Engineers to join our team. We need professionals with strong experience in Node and Vue.js (vue is a must)

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the engineering team at Modus Create.

About You

Experience level: Senior
You love building great software. Your work could be supporting new feature development, migrating existing features, or creating APIs.
You will balance your time between writing backend code in Java/Spring Boot-powered microservices (Java versions 11 or above) and writing frontend code with VueJS, If you have experience with AWS Lambda that will be a huge plus. Our client microservices are written in Java with Spring Boot running on AWS Fargate or NodeJS running on top of AWS Lambdas.

The frontend is in the majority is VueJS and some of it is ReactJS.
You have strong development experience working with significant and demonstrable projects and are passionate about the latest industry trends, and innovations occurring in web-based and RESTful products. You have significant experience with Java and Spring Framework, JavaScript, React or VueJS, Relational Databases, and AWS Cloud for containerized applications and serverless services. You have experience writing code with high coverage of Unit tests, using tools like JUnit and Mockito, and Jest. You also have some experience with Docker and CI/CD Pipelines.
You relish creating high-quality code from the comfort of your own home. Your engineering projects will focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production-ready code. You'll have the opportunity to ship code daily that will be used by customers.

This is a remote job from anywhere in Latam or Europe (5/6 hours of overlap required with EST time zone)
