Overview
This is a unique opportunity to be the first dedicated front end engineer of an emerging Web3 social media platform. We’re looking for someone who is both detail oriented in their implementation of designs and who also enjoys collaborating with designers to elevate the user experience.

Caring about the quality of DSCVR’s frontend and making it your responsibility
Implementing the design of new features on DSCVR
Being a perfectionist and caring about every pixel (matching the Figma)
Establishing a standard for developing frontend applications
Mentoring & overseeing other frontend engineers
Preparing DSCVR’s frontend application to be open sourced
Bonus: Not just implementing the UX a designer gives you, but elevating it
Qualifications
Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
Highly proficient with Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, Webpack 4/5, and Nuxt.js
Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including Sass or Less depending on your technology stack
Good understanding of Tailwind CSS and/or other utility-first css frameworks
Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
Approaches code refactoring with modularity, readability, and testability in mind
Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git
Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
Experience establishing team coding standards and leading a team of front-end engineers to hit product goals
Experience working closely with product managers and QA engineers to assure smooth and accurate product UI/UX and stability
