Senior front-end engineer (fulltime or parttime) at Visma | ProActive

You create bleeding edge features as a Senior front-end engineer. We need your help with making architectural improvements to an existing front-end stack. Thousands of users will work with the software you’ve developed, based on customer research. Can we count on you to help improve the Spend Cloud?

What does a day as a Senior front-end engineer look like?

As a Senior front-end engineer you help mature our code stack. Your day could look something like this at Visma | ProActive:

08:45 Time for the daily stand up using scrum and Jira.

11:00 After a cup of coffee/tea you join the weekly refinement meeting, which takes up an hour tops. We value efficient meetings and make things short and sweet.

12:30 Lunch time! Working at the office? Then you’re provided with a delicious lunch you can share with your colleagues. Working from home? That means it’s your own responsibility to take a break. Balance is very important to us, so don’t forget those 30 minutes!

For the rest of the afternoon, you coordinate with your multi disciplinary team to get things done. You work together with both UX professionals and back-end developers to add value to the project. Or, depending on which epic has the most priority, you'll closely work together with the four other front-end developers to advance the tech stack and improve the project at its technical core.

What do I need to be a Senior front-end engineer at Visma | ProActive?

You have: 

• Experience with reactive web-dev frameworks like React, Vuejs, Svelte or Angular

• Proficiency in CSS, HTML and JavaScript

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Experience with Scrum/Kanban

• An innovative mindset and a proactive attitude
  
  Optional: Do you have experience with automated testing? Awesome! Not necessary, but very much appreciated. And experience with responsive design and mobile development? Great as well!

You are: 

• Tech-savvy. You have a need to keep up to date with the newest technologies in web-dev

• Able to communicate clearly with your teammates. Everything we do, we do together and we all need to be on the same page

• Able to handle feedback and aren’t afraid to give constructive feedback to others in return

• Living in The Netherlands
