Overview of the role:
We are about to embark on the process of rebuilding our existing Angular-based dashboard software into Vue.js, using the existing Node.js back end on its microservice architecture, in order to facilitate better data delivery to the end user. The new platform will be built to be highly scalable and reliable, with automatic testing employed in the CI/CD process.Joining Be-IQ will give you the opportunity to help build and shape our platform to deliver industry-leading levels of reliability and customer experience working on the latest technology.

As part of a small team, you will be expected to work independently and proactively for much of the time, albeit with regular brief meetings to check in with our chief architect and CEO. The right candidate will combine an ability to deliver robust solutions with the ability to think laterally and work independently. Also someone who isn't afraid to contribute, to challenge design choices and make their mark on our services. You are a quick study, eager to approach problems with the mind set that there is always a solution, and interested in delivering elegant solutions to complex requirements. For practical purposes, we are considering only UK-based applicants for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of the technical design of features during planning stages
Troubleshoot critical issues
Take part in the agile development process
Work collaboratively on problem-solving with other members of the team to provide the best solution available
Keep an eye on code quality and be prepared to knowledge share
Implement rigorous automatic testing for all aspects of the solution

Experience
Strong Vue.js and Node.js skills
Microservices
Experience building REST API’s

Desirable experience:
GitLab and CI/CD
NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
Angular
Exposure to working with real time and high availability systems
Agile development processes
