The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced developer who is able to step into high-quality, bespoke systems with JavaScript-heavy UI elements, whilst using frameworks such as React and Vue.js to interact with backend APIs.

Responsibilities 

• Develop web solutions primarily using Vue.js and React

• Build testable and performant reusable components

• Assist other members of the team where required

• Review others PR’s and act as a mentor on occasion

• Take ownership of projects

• Work with Technical Leads to identify and resolve areas of inefficiency

• Communicate with various departments as well as external clients where required 

About You

• Has 3+ years commercial experience with a Vue.js (ideally Nuxt.js) 

• Takes pride in what they do - attention to detail both visually and technically is extremely important for this role 

• Is up to date with the latest development best practices - knowledge of ES6+ features and other emerging technology  

• Has strong HTML and CSS skills - including CSS preprocessor knowledge such as SCSS to make their life that much easier 

• Can employ responsive development best practices to ensure what you build works across a range of devices  

• Utilises open source packages effectively - using package managers such as npm/yarn  

• Have used some sort of collaborative source control - we use git 

• Has experience with writing tests 

• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
