About the Role:
We are looking for a full-time Frontend Engineer to develop performant pixel-perfect VueJS applications that integrate with a range of internal and third-party APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Write maintainable/scalable/efficient code in a business-sensitive consumer-facing context
- Optimize site performance ensuring we're hitting our core web vitals targets using SSG
- Take ownership of your code quality and test your own work
- Follow team standards & processes and contribute to the improvement of those
- Ideate on product requirements with the team and drive it from design to implementation
- Joint ownership of the app’s front end performance, health matrix, and technical debt.
Required:
- 4+ years of frontend development experience. At least 2 years of experience working with VueJS
- Experience with optimizing the front end performance of applications to improve core web vitals metrics
- Experience implementing and ideally transitioning to a server side rendered/generated application
- Good understanding of backend systems i. e. web services, APIs from a consumer perspective
- Experience with VueJS / HTML / CSS, Git, RDBMS, Linux
- Curiosity to go in depth of codebases and libraries, and have ability to set it up from scratch.
- A distinguished sense of UI and UX and passion for profiling performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
